GHM wins Jersey City Art Eat Up!!
ProArts in Jersey City is an organization that cares about the intersection of Art and Community. Clearly they are kindred spirits! They host Quarterly Art Eat Up events where a number of artists present their projects to a host of assembled community members at a communal dinner. At the end of the evening everyone votes on one project that they want to support. And the profits from the evening go to fund the project with the most votes. Spring’s emerging – but a March spent further South – Speeds it all along. I believe Bryan’s hand is showing syllable #5 of Kelly’s creation! He was counting with his fingers… ohh Haiku novices we were! Kelly: I was so involved with writing my Haiku work of art that I had no idea of...

We caught on quick. Between the farmer’s market, the touch football game, and the kids on wheeled objects, we were kept very busy. Then we divided into our GHM record 6 Neighborhood teams; Downtown Brooklyn, DUMBO, Fort Greene, Park Slope, Prospect Heights and Williamsburg. Each neighborhood has their own set of remarkable images available in our Flickr gallery for your...
