Introducing Hands Inc.

Hands Inc. does serious work.  Seriously awesome work.  They are committed to the city of Orange, New Jersey.  Committed to its thriving on every level; arts, education, environment.  They are community-building movers and shakers at the deepest level. April 14th is their Place-making Event, a yearly bash that allows them to bring their community together and directly showcase their work. …And Guerilla Haiku is going to be featured in this year’s Event! Agent Alexis Fedor: Uncovered

Agent Alexis has been to 2 events so far (Philadephia and Brooklyn), and has been directly responsible for keeping me focused as I continue to plan bigger and better Guerilla Haiku adventures.  In her non-haikuing time she is an actor, a social media guru, and founder of the online company and community Love + Water Designs.  Check out their Indie-go-go campaign!!!  The featured haiku is one of her creations, and is just one of many beauties that she chalked all over Philly.  She inspires me.  Here are some other words from her: 1) What is your favorite haiku?  (Either self-created or...

Agent Freeman Ng: Uncovered

When I was planning my first really-truly Guerilla Haiku event in San Francisco, I did a lot of poking around on the internets, and through that, found Freeman, the dearest man in the universe, writer, AND Mastermind of Haiku Diem.  He blogs a new haiku every single day and has since July 9th, 2010…!  Needless to say, I was (and am) very impressed, and invited him to the San Francisco event which he graced with his creative presence.  Featured is my favorite image of his work, but there are so many more! Here’s what Freeman has to say about his haiku plans past, present and...

Guerilla Tales: New York Inaugural Event

At our very first Haiku event, this team really embraced the spirit of engagement.  This is one of my favorite photos from their day of adventures.  And, in their words, here are their thoughts on the creation of this captured moment: Jac:  This was our first stop on our Haiku adventure, in front of the New York Public library, where we boldy began our journey. I believe Bryan’s hand is showing syllable #5  of Kelly’s creation! He was counting with his fingers… ohh Haiku novices we were! Kelly: I was so involved with writing my Haiku work of art that I had no idea of...
